Control Panel 1 - The Hepsia web hosting CP is a regular accessory solely when combined with the Debian Linux Operating System and is added for free. With Hepsia you can host unlimited hostnames in one single web hosting account. This is possible because of Hepsia's powerful Domain Manager menu. The other Control Panel devices, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are obtainable solely in combination with CentOS. In contrast with Hepsia, with them you must use 2 separate logins. This is so, because cPanel and DirectAdmin do not supply any domain registration/transfer/management choices. If you opt for Ubuntu as an OS for your dedicated web server, there will be no Control Panel option.
Hosted Site Names 2 - unlimited domain names can be hosted with all offered hosting CP tools, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/manage your web site names under one account. Unfortunately, the cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting Control Panel tools do not supply such opportunity at all - there is no Domain Manager section and as a consequence they need 2 different hosting user accounts: 1 domain name management/billing/support user account and 1 web site management account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin Control Panel).
Operating System (OS) 3 - you will find out that the Hepsia web hosting Control Panel can run on Debian Linux only. It's free of charge to have it on your dedicated server. Hepsia is not offered with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin hosting Control Panel devices operate only with the CentOS OS. Neither of them is offered with Debian or Ubuntu.
